Skills USA Portraits

I was recently commissioned by Bob Boord (CD) and Neil Tobin (ACD) to create a series of 10 portraits for SkillsUSA; an organization that partners with students, teachers and industry leaders to ensure that America has a skilled workforce.

Ironically, while shooting this campaign in Nashville I discovered that SkillsUSA used to be VICA. In high school I competed in a photography competition for VICA and won third in Illinois. That being said, I could really relate to the talent and I think the camaraderie comes through in the portraits.
